Hello little blogging bunnies!
My best friend has now qualified in Gel nails and I gave her the challenge a month back of using her magic on my then, teeny tiny nails. Since having the gels and them having the taken off my nails have grown long and lovely tremendously! I have just been painting my nails with the Barry M gel finish polish with a base/top coat! Which may I say are bloody amazing!! All the colours are summery and pretty, as well as long lasting.
However I have just rediscovered the beauty of nail art and how funky yet pretty they can look! After stalking pinterest and weHeartit all evening I found some mega nail inspo's that I am going to practice and try out myself. In which I am hoping in no time I will be a nail art pro .. haha syc. I am very impatient and clumsy so this could be rather interesting for me.
This first picture above I instantly fell in LOVE with, black nails with cute little daisies painted on.
Edgy with the dark base but girly and summery with the pretty floral pattern. This is a MUST try!
This picture is awesome showing a tutorial of this nail design in nine (hopefully) easy steps. I am loving the ombre/dip dye effect of the two colors at the start. The black zig zag effect adds a cool, quirky feel to the nail design making them even more eye catching! These nails are bright and summery and perfect for my Ibiza holiday!!
Now I am loving these nails 100%!! I love the pastel color choices made and the gold lines creating shape effects. They look sophisticated, everyday perfect for night or day time events. Very chic and classy, not too in your face but defo enough to get them heads turning! A must try for work or nights out with the girls for sure!
These are just a few of the many found, Keep an eye out for my attempts as well as all the brilliant inspo available on the big wide web! Thanks for reading!!
Alio xo

topshop #1
So I've lately been back on the polyvore scene, this is my latest set all from Topshop as you can see! Love all of it if I do say so myself, the blue palm print skort especially caught my eye as I most certainly love a skort! The black seam strappy bralet is simple and goes perfectly without taking away from the loud print! Plus I adore the thick dark black 2 part platform shoes, to die for!!! P.s sunglasses from Nordstrom, will definitely be purchasing!!

Facial Faves!
My beauty product shelves in my wardrobe have been getting out of control, so it was out with the old and in with the new. Strictly starting a fresh plus I managed to barter this really cute wicker basket off of my mum, which was from Next, £6 bargain!!! It fits perfectly in my shelf and all my products fit nicely in there too! This has my cleansers, facial wipes, eye make up remover, day/night creams and all sorts of my daily essentials!
I have recently been avoiding using make up wipes as I feel using daily had begun to dry my skin out and I just felt gross using them! I have found a wonderful alternative, first of all Nivea 2 in 1 Cleanser&Toner which I apply all over the face and remove with cotton pads. It works wonders and removes all make up, or even on a fresh plain face makes me feel so refreshed and clean! Its cheap and affordable and along with Nivea's Daily Essential range there are also Day and Night creams that have a great effect after cleansing and toning!! The night cream is quite thick however apply a nice layer and I guarentee your skin will be silky soft and refreshed!
I have also been trying out Simple's eye make up remover which I got from Boots! Wow! It's an amazing remover! Once applied to a pad and swiped over the eye a couple of times the eye make up comes off immediately!! It also does NOT sting which with my usual bad luck of getting make up remover in my eye can KILL! But this does not at all, its a nice light weight remover that works wonders.
Try out the products and hopefully you get the same results! Let me know if you have any particular fave skin regimes!!
Love Alio! xoxo

Ibiza!
So I have become extremely bad at updating this blog I created .. BUT NOT NO MORE!
So way back in July, Me and three friends went to the party island of Ibiza for a week away!
But WOW it was the best week of my life, I had been waiting for the moment to leave for the week since way back in December 2012 when we booked it, and before I knew it the date was here!
Being my first girls holiday I was so ready to go, not no cares or worries in the world, (apart from if I packed enough or too much haha!) I was so excited for what was to come, and that it would be a great memory for the rest of my life, What a brilliant first girls holiday!
The plane journey there was a brilliant way to kick off what we was about to experience, Jade, Sammy and Katie where on one row of the plane and I was on the end of the opposite next to them. However next to me was a VERY funny guy and whom we believe was his American/Latino/German or some kind of mixed accent boyfriend/partner! But wowwwie was they funny, They had me in stitches the whole journey there, singing songs, laughing, telling jokes. Even when we was about to land one of them shouted "WOOOHOO EVERYONE WE'VE ARRIVED TO MAGALUF" they was drunk, so funny however I was worried in case one of them vommed on me, but that didn't happen, luckily!
We done so many things in that week, our hotel was lovely which was a bonus! It had two pools, the rooms was nice, its was close to everything in San Antonio but not right on the streets of people being sick or passed out on the doorstep, thankfully! The first full day we sunbathed and chilled out by the pool trying to get our tan on, to catch up with the people whom have already been here. Then we went to the west end to get our animal face/body paint done all ready for The Zoo Project! We went up the hills and to the zoo project, It was something I have never experienced before! Staff walking around on tall stilts all dressed up, dancing pandas, random dj's spread out and people dancing everywhere, pool parties, hammocks randomly set out!
We also went to see Avicii/Boat party which was all one package, the BEST day of the holiday I would say, I don't get travel sickness however I had never been on a boat before where I was constantly drinking alcohol and dancing/jumping around whilst riding the waves, So I was a little nervous however I was 100% fine! We made friends with a group of other friends whom we stayed with when we went to see Avicii. After we all got a taxi back to central San Antonio and went to some other bars/went to the beach at like 2am in the morning and all chatted and just had a laugh!
The week continued this way seeing more acts like Tinie Tempah at Ibiza Rocks, to more sunbathing, pedalo fun in the day time, to going cafe mambo and watching the sunset which was the perfect way to end our holiday. As a group of friends we had an awesome time, learnt even more about each other having to spend every hour of the day together but it was fun and I wouldn't have changed it for the world! Its an expensive place but i recommend it, or I genuinely recommend a holiday like that in any location, stay safe, have fun and you will not regret it!!!

Prom Day!
Hello Girls!
So on Friday 11th May, we had our year 13 school leavers prom at the Novotel! We was so lucky because the sun stayed out, and it was pretty warm!
It wasn't a typical year 11 prom, where its overly dressy, its something that most people bought dresses from the high street, in so that we could wear our outfits again!
My dress is from Delilah (£60), which I found in Topshop, Oxford St, London which is also where I found the really cute pearl/lace peter pan collar (£16) to go with it, which adds detail to the dress and makes it look more interesting! My shoes are a nude/beige with a pink tone to them, they are from Next (£28) and my nude suede clutch bag is from River Island.
